Introduction
Freezerlines was established in 1990 and by 1996 three depots were in operation in Port Elizabeth, East London and George. The company enjoyed successful trading and was acquired by Barloworld in March 2001. Major system changes were incorporated to adhere to the Barloworld standards. Shortly thereafter Barloworld exited the FMCG market and Freezerlines was repurchased by its original owners. In February 2007 Imperial Logistics acquired a controlling share in Freezerlines.
At present, Freezerlines has depots in Port Elizabeth and George.
