Zetes announces it has been awarded a fifteen year contract to implement biometric electronic passports for Gambia. It is estimated that forty thousand passports will be produced each year as part of the subcontracting contract, in which the primary contractor is Africard.

Namibia Breweries Limited (NBL) said earlier in September that it expects basic earnings per share to be materially lower than the prior year by between 66% and 68% in the year ended 30 June.
