Fashion Express, created as an alternative strategy to revitalise ailing Foschini stores, has successfully established itself as a value fashion chain. 


Built around the concept of ‘express yourself for less”, this ladieswear-focused chain offers fashionable garments in a pleasant shopping environment at prices that rival the traditional cash retailers.

A new store concept has been established that will allow the brand to have a consistent handwriting across all the locations and this will be rolled out to existing stores over the next two years. By the end of 2008 there will be over 100 fashion express stores.

Retail group TFG (The Foschini Group) has surged ahead of competitors in the retail sector increasing turnover by 18.5% to R5.4 billion and headline earnings per share by 25.6% to 341,9c in the six months to end September 2011.
