Lebogang Bogatsu has joined the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud (CGSO) as its Accountant. She will have the role of maintaining management accounts

Lebogang Bogatsu has joined the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud (CGSO) as its Accountant. She will have the role of maintaining management accounts. Lebogang brings with her more than 5 years of working experience in a financial environment. She carries extensive knowledge in Accounting, Assurance and Audit and has for the past year been working at Ubucule Accountants & Business Advisors, where she served as an audit supervisor.
She holds a B. Accounting degree obtained from the University of the Free State and completed SAICA Articles with UHY Hellman (SA). She also has extensive knowledge of private sector and the public sector as she has consulted with several government entities in the areas of Financial Management; Internal auditing, Performance Information audits and Supply Chain Management.
And finally, after the appointment of six women in succession, “it’s a boy!”:
Sicelo Gwala, Complaints Assessor
Sicelo Gwala hails from KwaZulu Natal. The CGSO managed to entice him away from that Province’s Consumer Protection Services, where he specialised in complaint handling and consumer education and was an Assistant Manager and Acting Deputy Manager. He served on various structures such as the Consumer Education Committee, which comprised of representatives of all the provincial consumer offices and the consumer protection regulators, and the District Task Team Sukumasakhe in KZN.
Prior to becoming involved in consumer affairs, Sicelo working at the Department of Economic Development and Tourism, Liquor Board Administration. He is also able to understand the business perspective, having started his career with Cadbury’s as an administrator. He has qualifications in office and business management.
