Arctic Circle Design selected pocket-sized Z-CARD®s to utilise as innovative infographic communication tools for its client, Rentshield, a residential property-letting tool that alleviates the need for a tenant’s deposit and protects the landlord far more than a traditional deposit would.
Two versions of the Z-CARD® have been produced by PocketMedia® Solutions, one which provides estate agents with easy and concise information about how to use Rentshield’s website and answers frequently asked questions, and the other which does the same for landlords.
Rentshield’s Quick Guide Z-CARD®s utilise infographics and design elements to explain the content of complex messages, so that they are easily understood and comprehended.
“Whilst infographics have been around for many years, the recent proliferation of a number of easy-to-use, free tools have made their creation available to a large segment of the population across the world. The infographic trend is thus taking the marketing and communication world by storm,” says John Davis, the Managing Director of PocketMedia® Solutions.
“Infographics keep people interested because it tells them a story, using visual elements, and provides them with information that can be absorbed at a glance. As consumers, we want numbers and statistics to back up the information that we read, but we want it to be visually appealing and not always text based. PocketMedia® is the ideal medium in which to have infographic messages printed, as consumers can keep them on person,” he adds.
“As Rentshield is a challenger brand utilising a traditional marketing medium would not work for us. We wanted the information to be easily accessible at all times and to not take up a lot of space on our target audience’s desk,” says Rentshield’s Director, Martin Goodman.
The Z-CARD®s are being used daily and are included in every information pack that Rentshield leaves behind for its clients.
“The aim of the cards is to make our website experience easy and user-friendly, whilst disseminating other useful information in an interesting and relaxed manner that clients can read when they have the time,” he adds.
