Who is DMFSA

Del Monte Fruits South Africa (Pty) Ltd is part of the global company, Del Monte Fresh Produce.Del Monte canned fruit is distributed all over the world to all continents and is known worldwide for its superior and consistent quality.

The cannery, that was established in 1954, is situated in the historical town of Tulbagh on the northern end of the beautiful and fertile Tulbagh Valley. The valley is almost completely surrounded by majestic mountain ranges - the Obiqua mountains to the west, the towering Winterhoek on the northern end and the Witzenberg on the eastern side of the valley.

In line with our restructuring process that was started by Del Monte South Africa at the end of 2005, whereby we have realigned the business in order to focus on its core activities and become a more streamlined business, Del Monte South Africa will be trading as Del Monte Fruits South Africa (Pty) Ltd from 1 January 2008.
