Fruity Planet was established in 2009 and is the Official Marketing and Distributing Agent for Pokka Beverages in South Africa.

The Company was started by a young entrepreneur, Chris Jester who has a passion for enterprise as well as social development. His first impressions of the unique range of Pokka Beverages were during a brief transit through the Far East and this energised and excited his business sense as much as his taste buds.

Pokka Corp. is a leading food and beverage manufacturer in Singapore and Asia Pacific and was established in 1977. The Groups manufactures a wide range of beverages and has carved a strong niche in the ready- to - drink beverage market as a brand synonymous with healthy tea, fruit drinks and coffee. They have expanded successfully and Pokka Beverages are consumed in more than 50 countries presently.

Chris researched the beverages markets in South Africa and found that more South Africans are being influenced by global health and wellness trends as well as convenience. Pokka Beverages provided the ideal solution to fill the niche in the market.

The uniqueness of Pokka Beverages as well as taste provided the ideal fuel for his creativity and innovation in spawning Fruity Planet as the company that would introduce Pokka into the South African Market. The Fruity Planet Logo places representational emphasis on the range of beverages from fruity drinks to coffees and the natural source of Pokka's inspiration behind product development.
