SA retail sales growth at 0.2%

Johannesburg - Retail sales grew at a sluggish 0.2% in September compared with the same month last year, after expanding by a revised 3.2% in August, Statistics South Africa said on Wednesday.
Economists had expected sales growth of 2.5%.
On a month-on-month basis, sales were down 0.7% but were up 2.1% in the three months to August compared with the same period in 2012.From Fin24.com

Minneapolis – Target confirmed that it suffered a major data breach that may have affected as many as 40 million credit and debit card transactions at Target stores between Nov. 27 and Dec. 15. The retailer said the information included customer name, credit or debit card number, and the card’s expiration date and CVV (the three-digit security code).
