Cotton On opens in Stellenbosch, Western Cape

Located in Mill Square, Stellenbosch, the new Cotton On store opened on 31 October 2013, offering on-trend yet affordable fashion for both women and men.
Starting in 1991 as a single clothing store in Geelong, Australia, the Cotton On Group now has over 1,000 stores in 16 countries around the world and opened the doors to its first South African store back in 2011.
“As we continue our retail development in South Africa, we are pleased to bring the brand to Stellenbosch. We look forward to having Cotton On form part of the community by providing a brand that is style driven, comfortable and can easily identify with customers,” said Country Manager South Africa, Johan Van Wyk.
The new Cotton On store will operate from Monday to Saturday at 09:00 - 18:00 and on Sundays from 09:00 - 15:00 and is located at Shop MS03 &MSO5, Mill Square.

Washington, D.C. – Retail sales in November increased a better-than-expected 0.7% seasonally-adjusted month-to-month, according to the U.S. Commerce Department. (The figure includes categories such as automobiles, gasoline stations, and restaurants.) Analysts were expecting sales to rise 0.6% in last month. The latest retail sales numbers were 4.7% above November 2012 numbers.
