Acquisitions, economic uncertainties and labour negotiations have made 2012 an eventful year for retail. As we rush into the festive season and the New Year, may 2013 bring exciting retail technologies and developments that keep us on our toes.

Middelburg Mall draws record turnouts this festive season
Middelburg Mall may be a newcomer to the South African retail scene, but it has already attracted over three-million shoppers since it opened in April this year, and retailers are reporting excellent trading densities across the board.
