New take on baked beans from Rhodes

With two delicious new innovations in the Baked Beans category, Rhodes is set to introduce a delightful new meaning to “good enough to eat from the can”.
New Rhodes Baked Beans in a Braai Sauce is a spicy mix of baked beans, onions and green peppers - ready to decant and eat as a salad with your braai. The braai flavour of the mix is exceptionally “moreish”. Baked Beans in Braai Sauce is available in a 400 g can with the “Easy-open” lid, and is of Choice Grade.
The Rhodes Baked Beans in Tomato Sauce with Peas presents another new, utterly irresistible flavour in a can. With Beans and Peas, this product is suitable for vegetarians; gluten free; higher in dietary fibre than just Baked Beans; high in carbohydrates; and is a source of protein.
Rhodes Baked Beans in Tomato Sauce with Peas is available in a 410 g can with an “Easy-open” lid, and is of Choice Grade.
The two new products extend Rhodes Baked Bean products to 4. Included in the range is the Baked Beans in Tomato Sauce in both a 410 g and 215 g can. Both are available in the new “Easy-open” cans
Rhodes Baked Beans in Tomato Sauce is the first and only Baked Beans product which carries the Heart Mark, and proudly, can also list the following achievements:
• The GI Foundation has tested and approved Rhodes Baked Beans as Low GI (Often foods);
• Diabetes South Africa approves and endorses Rhodes Baked Beans;
• The product is Halaal and Kosher certified.
Rhodes “Choice Grade” Baked Beans is suitable for vegetarians, gluten free, low in fat and a source of dietary fibre.
Try your Rhodes Baked Beans in a Braai Sauce served with breakfast – it goes perfectly with fried egg, sausages and bacon; buy 3 or 4 cans when you next have a braai – decant in a salad bowl – and see how fast it disappears as soon as it is tasted. Serve with boerewors in a large roll; serve as a vegetable with a roast meal or just eat it straight from the can – great for “the morning after nibbles”.
The Rhodes Baked Beans in Tomato Sauce with Peas is just too nice to resist. Serve warm with mash potatoes and chops; use as an ingredient in your own four bean salad; or use as an ingredient in cottage pies, lamb potjies and casseroles.Click here for more information on Rhodes Vegetable Products
